Thumbs up Good experience at Rallye

I picked up a 2010 335i xDrive Sedan on Monday of this week from Rallye BMW. Driving it home that night, I noticed that both of the headlights were aimed too low. I called my salesman right away, and because I live over an hour away, he informed me that I could go to any BMW dealership to have this issue warrantied since the car is still covered under the factory warranty.

I went to BMW of Darien, and they diagnosed the problem as ball joints having popped out of their sockets for the auto leveling in both headlights. They told me this could not be covered under warranty because it's possible that a pothole could have caused this issue. I asked if there was any evidence that a pothole was hit, and they said no. They simply said that in the past, this problem has been caused by hitting large potholes. They simply wouldn't cover it. I thought this was crazy.

Today my office closed early due to no water, so I drove down to Rallye unannounced to talk to the salesman that sold me the car. They took my car in, immediately diagnosed the problem, and replaced both headlights while I waited. I was astounded by this result. At best, I was hoping that they would be able to get me into a loaner and get the issue resolved by early next week.

HUGE thumbs up for Rallye BMW for acting on this issue so quickly, and for making the repair as painless as possible. I would definitely recommend this dealership to anyone in the area.
