For those concerned about quality/reliability issues with ddm, I've had a 55w kit (which is overkill) installed on my gsxr for over 3 years with no signs of discolouring, fading, heat issues, wire or connection related failure or bulb issues. A lot of the connections are open to the elements, and where I installed the ballast (inside the fairing) has just as little airflow as if you were to install it in the headlight housing, if not less. It works just as well today as it did the day I installed it.
