a muffler delete isnt subjective. you were happy with it purely because of the sound, but you did not take other considerations into effect such as the lack of pressure for low-rpm driving. you can hear the droning at lower rpm because you have no muffler to help with this. as a result, a muffler delete simply isnt good for a naturally aspirated engine. its different for other engines like the n54/n55 which rely on a certain amount of exhaust flow to let the turbo spool, meaning those engines dont necessarily need the backpressure.
headers with a muffler delete must sound like certified garbage. are you still running with no muffler?
