The Mercedes franchise in the above report will be our local and as stated above we've done a fair few fuel related "fix's"due to "suspected fuel issues". Remember also on diesel due to the refining process there will be more microbacterial and water contamination present than you'd expect.
We've repalced fuel filters on cars in the past and drained the fuel tanks where necessary.
Also worth bearing in mind is the state of today's diesel
