It sounds like you are talking about the gauge cluster/dashboard lights. Those are LED's behind there (according to the manual).
Keep in mind that providing higher voltage to any bulb (including angel eyes) will increase its heat output, possibly leading to melting of the area around the bulb. It will also cause the wires to run hotter than intended which can melt/burn wires and the surrounding area, it can melt the bulb socket, or blow fuses.
It will also cause premature wear on the bulb itself and cause it to die sooner than usual.
