You the need the MF buttons. If you have these then u are set.
1. disconect battery terminals in boot.
2. using a small flathead insert screwdriver in the sides of the wheels and release retaining clips. Steering wheel pops out.
3. disconnect airbag from steering wheel cables.
4. discconect slip ring for airbag and MF buttons.
5. loosen and remove large centre bolt.
6. remove wheel. take careful note of there the wheel lines up it should be marked on both wheels.
7. slid on new wheel into correct location. make sure new wheel is built up with trim and MF buttons ready and also has the the Airbag earth wire in place.
8. Connect airbag loom and MF loom into slip ring.
9. Refit the wheel in place using the original large bolt and torque appropriately.
10. Connect airbag to airbag loom.
11. place airbag carefully in position then press fit one side at a time so that the retaining clips hold it in place.
12. check you followed all steps and everything checks out, check once again that the wheel is tighten by pulling the wheel towards you.
13. reconnect battery terminals.
14. start ignition and check all buttons and horns work as should.
15. grasp wheel reassuringly and smile.
16. go in doors eat steak and have fun time with wife/gf/mistress.
17. sleep.
18. log on to E90post and report back on experience. ( of wheel fitting not fun time)
