i have had the same with mine since i bought it three years ago. It starts/turns the engine over nice and strong so I'm not sure whether it is the battery but parked up engine off but anything electrical on and I get the low battery message then shuts down. Mine doesn't get short journeys either, virtually all of them are 25miles plus so should be plenty to re charge I'd have thought.
