Sounds like a Kodak moment (no pun intended).
These old giants, some of them adapt and some can't.
Blockbuster had a lot invested in hard media but who's to say that they couldn't have survived if they went to a Netflix-like streaming model?
I didn't even know they had a delivery service, where was the marketing at?!
But yeah, who rents movies from a store anymore when you have Amazon Prime, Netflix, Hulu, etc., on every new TV and even $100 Blu-Ray players in case your TV doesn't have the internet capability.
