Since it's 2008 now, and that 335s has become more common on the streets, I believe you have more of a leverage when it comes to bargaining than it was for me others in 2007.

1) I'd recommend call up the Internet sales guys and get firm quotes from multi dealers

2) Bring the invoice pricing sheet in and hand pick the CA that looks to you as a reasonable sales person

3) Go with ED, that might get you the best price

$1000 over invoice is a very good price, that price is usually honored if you go with ED and make an arguement that you're picking up the car in Germany yourself, and that the CA is just doing paperwork.
