Then in a mature manner notify the shop, dont point the finger just yet. That is the correct way of approaching any situation like this.
People are quick to bash vendors and shops and many don't get the whole story.
Do the right thing, ask the right questions and inform them for the future.

I agree with Jeff. It's just sad that some dealerships (like mine) could care less.
