Its for the little areas cops can be hanging out at on the highways. Also its for the red light cameras that never move that are non mobile.
Driving in MD where they have a ton of red light cameras its helpful to leave on and when ur driving around if its going to be close i would glance down and see that ones there and make sure i stop.
