e90 sub not much comming thru to cabin? Recommendation needed.
Ok, so yesterday I had my aftermarket JVC HU fitted and a Jl audio amp. I was going to have a basslink t fitted but it was to big to be fitted.
Anyway the installers put in a 12" jl audio sub in to demonstrate it for me. It was running from my amp which was also powering the front speakers.
There was not much bass comming thru into the cabin at all.
Would it of made much difference if the sub had a dedicated amp running it?
I mainly listen to hip hop and love hard hitting bass.
Would love to know how other e90 guys got round this problem.
