Are they forgiving when driven on the limit?
One thing I like about BMW's is that you they reach their limits very progressively. So you get plenty of warning that you are losing grip so you can adjust accordingly.
So can you slide an Elise around a bend or does it snap at the limit and send you backwards into a hedge?

I want a car that's quick up to around 90mph. Beyond that there is not much point in this country.
