Well the question was also raised whether there was a significant advantage over using the MS-8 over just using the JL amp with a flat signal. The answer is that there is a huge difference in what the ms-8 can do with the signal going to the speakers and the sound between an unprocessed signal and a processed and optimized signal is night and day.
