So for my Mercedes i went to Chameleon Wraps and they charged me around $225 for material and installation. They do wraps for companies that want to advertise on cars so they do this stuff all the time, just not necesarrily for us mod fanatics. The only thing i didnt like was the material was kind of thick and had a honeycomb texture to it (that u could only see really close up). I'm sure if u take your own material they would give u a great price.
The only problem i have with painting is that if in the end you dont like it or want to take it off (trade in / sell / whatever) you wont be able to you just gota repaint. With vinyl you peel it off and bam! done!
