While that may be true, it's really hard to tell 176lbs, on a short drive, and use that as justification for worse handling. Maybe on a track?
Regardless, I don't think op has a sport package 328i, and he test drove a sport 335i, so obviously the handling SHOULD be better on the 335 with sport.
