Most wood trim has a light clear coat on it so if you want to buff out scratches I'd recommend only using a very light polish like the
Menzerna Micro Polish SF 4500 (PO85RD). It's a very gentle polish that should help remove ultra fine imperfections and remove any haze. This can also be used on your paint for the same basic function. If you want to use something a bit more aggressive the
Menzerna Super Finish Polish SF 4000 (PO106FA Nano Polish) is my choice which is still regarded as a light polish. Hope this helps!
