The son of JBL MS-8...the MS-2
More like the newborn of an MS-8. But for the refurbished shipped price from a sale on the forums I had to try it out. And this little thing made me realize how ugly the stock speakers sound. It does liven up the system, especially the treble. There is a "defeat" button that let's you switch on/off the tool to compare quality. OEM sounded to muffled or filtered which I didn't realize since I've had the car but the MS-2 brings out what you should hear. Albeit not the best quality because of the stock speakers but I can only imagine, once it is switched out to something better. I'll be more than content.
I tried it on my prius, didn't do anything. Probably the MS-2 thought...really?
I'll try it on my Honda Pilot next and any other car I get into as a passenger.
