Had a rattle from the exhaust tailpipe/tailbox area at idle - sounded horrible!
Decided to have a look - simply banging the tailpipes with your fist would bring the rattle on.
Upon pulling the trims off slightly, I saw this - hey presto!
The trims were full of small roadstones, grit and tar which were resonating and causing the rattle at idle.
Simply removing the trims (pull hard!) and a decent cleanup with wire wool and some solvent to dissolve the tar, they're like new!
and the end result - 10 minutes work!
