I got quoted 800 dollars AUD a few days back. The gasket costs 15 dollars or so and they want the replace the oil filter whole housing unit. I'm pretty sure it's only the gasket that needs replacing. I said i'll think about it. What a load of bullshit! Straight after, I took the car to my old bmw specialist and he said " Just needs gasket inside and a clean up " got quoted $160. Now that's more like it
