The first weekend I had my car somone felt like it was too pretty and had to put a big dent in the rear door with their ski. OK it wasn't really all that big
but for pete sake, the first weekend I had the car??? Anyways, I take the car to get that fixed and the next weekend I get a door ding in the parking lot at work. I was able to buff it out to where it isn't too visible and the VERY next day, in my own visitor parking lot in front of the house, the car got hit hard enough by another door ding to take the clear coat off... I asked the dealer what to do and they said to just use the touch up paint. To have it repainted professionally would mean they would have to blend the paint and that alone will reduce the value of the car versus touch up paint... I am not sure how accurate that is but that is what I ended up doing....
