If so, and that is the price they are giving you before negotiating, then they have 3-4K MIN in profit. AVG DEALER.
Get on the phone with them and just say "I will do an even swap" then shut up. They will reply "sorry". Get off the phone and WAIT. I think the phrase is "in the ether". Meaning they figure you are wanting that car. Play the game.

we didnt really negotiate. all i said was heres what i have and heres what i want. and he called back and said we can do the deal for $5500.
mine has less than 48k, but i told him 48k because by the time i drove it up to Atlanta it would be like 478xx
