This spat with the US has been raging with the US for quite some time. Mainly since the idiot bush publicallym called North Korea evil and stationed troops south of the border. With Obama now refusing to comment and do deals with them and new blood as their supreme leader he seems intent on flexing his muscles and potentially using force to be heard.
Problem is threatening nuclear war isn't the brightest thing to do. However it worked and the USA sent stealth bombers after North Korea cut the supply of South Korean workers to large shared manufacturing plants on the border.
It seems closer than ever to military retaliation from North Korea. There is a lot of speculation on their capabilities but 1 thing is for sure it would be suscide for them if they started it.
I can't seem them being stupid enough to launch rockets at the US mainland, especially nuclear. But it does seem that reports are suggesting he has ordered his troops into offensive positions.
