Norcal! But I'm biased. I visit LA a few times a year and it's definitely a different atmosphere. Hate the traffic, but there is never a shortage of what to do. But hey, you can't go wrong either way. I live in Sacramento, 1 1/2 hour drive east and I'm snowboarding in squaw valley/ lake tahoe/ truckee. 1/12 hour drive west and I'm at the beach in the bay area. And it's nice here on a day to day basis. The commute to work in the morning is filled with traffic, so I ride my motorcycle to work year round. Not too cold, not extremely hot either.
