I do a rinse down and then while still wet, spray with a quick detailer or ONR then dry. This helps lubricate the pollen to prevent scratching but also cleans off the car without doing a full wash.
My car is jet black and it's a huge PITA to keep clean and looking good. My last 330i ZHP was also jet black so luckily I've got a pretty good grip on how to keep it clean year round
