Think the above is right - if you want to spend £400 a month you could probably get a new one!
at the lower end, 15k would get you a 2-4 year old (depending on mileage) and I would go for one with BMW warranty if you want peace of mind.
Mine is a saloon, so not for you, and is up for mid-14s with only 36k miles on it.
