I don't have any oil leak, and it only goes through a few oz of oil between changes. It does consume some coolant on a regular basis.

Don't change ANY headbolts if they are not broken. Could cause leaks. I would try to figure out where you are leaking coolant first. Hose? Thermostat?waterpum?
