My dad has an '06 IS 350 and needs to replace
two Blizzak LM-60 225/40R18 XL tires . We are Trying to avoid paying the $400ish for two new ones.

What's your price for two? Do you still have original paperwork so I can claim warranty on them if I need to? Were these bought in late 2011?
