3" is theorethically better, but 2,5" is enough at this low power level.
The noise level depends on the mufflers mainly, not the pipe diameter.
Tapering down from 3" to 2.5" may be costly in one-offs.
= makes sense to have straight through 3". Iīve heard it fits, but I donīt have first hand experience.
