The second one is the one that I need to understand. The first one is something I learned how to avoid it (I mean the corresponding limp and the thrown code) by simply increasing the upshift softening value of my V3.2.
The second one corresponds to a very weird limp I am getting every now and then while I am cruising after let's say a hefty 20/30 seconds since I had few full boost pulls, pulls which didn't get me a limp or anything like that.
The limp is weird because when the half lit engine light shows off the power's not cut, it gets cut shortly afterwards.
Therefore if anybody chimes in about "2A82 Inlet-Vanos variable cam control test" I would truly appreciate that

Thats crazy!
So for the 29D2 just increase the upshift softness?

Im curious to see what is causing the vanos fault, I thought it was related to not having enough oil but I just had an oil change and still got it.

I wonder how many other people are getting these codes. The BT scan tool is totally worth it.
