You could probably run the remote wire from the fusebox area underneath the dash up to the steering column. I'm sure you could wire tie the remote wire to keep it out of the way. Once at the steering column you could run it out to right behind the steering wheel.
Kinda hard to explain but that's the first idea that popped into my head. Or you could run it up your center console and put it next to the brake lever or somewhere in that area.
