I have been searching online and all over forms here to find out why my bmw standard tools aren't communicating with my 2007 e90 n54 335i vehicle. I have reformatted my laptop and installed the rhiengold and bmw standard tools from bimmergeeks site. I cant get insta-d to run on my laptop and I believed I followed the instructions. also tried running inpa and it comes up but wont connect to my vehicle. I have a k-dcan cable plugged into my usb port. my current laptop that I use doesn't have a serial rs323 port. I'm not sure how to configure this software so it reads my usb port that I plug in my k-dcan into my vehicle. please help me. I think I am finally getting close to figuring out why my vehicle hasn't started. changed out all fuel injectors with index 12 and need to code my injectors. if you read my posts on my page, you can see the problems I ran into that led me to this point. I hope someone can help me out. thank you in advance.
