In regards to road noise, they aren't that bad compared to my previous set of extreme performance summers (Dunlop Direzza Z1) and aren't the absolute worst in terms of dry traction. But, there are FAR better tires out there. Heck, I think my all-season Continental DWS rival the stock RFTs for dry traction and have better treadlife to boot.

I am running General Exclaims in the front. Nice and light, but much louder than the RFTs.
I have been driving for a few days with my NT05Rs on the rear. Nice launches at the intersection. But I'm afraid to look at how fast they are wearing. I don't even know if they have a treadwear rating. They are supposed to be way below 100 !
