Another option is to buy OEM 328i trim as it comes in matte black or shadow line depending on what you want. I got rid of all my chrome window trim that came on my 335 for trim that was installed on the 328.

Sure its a hell of a lot more expensive up front but its perfect and not cheap looking like tape/plastidip after a few years.
