Yeah its not a bad area by any means but its in the close vicinity of a slightly sketchy area (I'm always there). 96th and 2nd is a heavily traveled area since it is right by the exit of the FDR. I have a feeling the original thieves didnt even get a chance to come back but instead there was a second set of thieves who saw all the tickets and realized this was an abondoned and decided they could do a free pickup for parts which is probably why they didnt get very far nor even get the car open. It is very possible it was the original thieves though...
Your a good guy nybsbl04... giving me faith in the city again. Lived here all my life and never had an ounce of trust for anyone I dont know really. Owners should give you those 230s just for helping them locate their 40k+ car to them on goodwill alone.
