code- P1553
hey everyone, went to start up the car this morning on my way to class and my service engine light went on and the limp mode as well. turned the car off and on multiple times and same issue. went to auto zone had my car scanned and came back with code 1553. when i start the car there is a pinging noise on the left side of the engine, after start up the pinging goes away, im trying to figure out the reason being for this, i will be changing the oil tommorow, i heard dirty oil could mess with the vanos. if anyone could help me out with this issue i would really appreciate it thanks
