Hmmm if you're talking about seats that are very similar then I believe you are talking about the Recaro Sportster CS. The BMWP seats are actually just BMW trimmed Recaro Sportster CS's.

I have a waist size of about 34-35". To be honest, I'm sure the seats would be quite good in terms of support, especially when compared to the stock seats and I reckon you would probably fit perfectly. Much better than I did anyway. I personally didn't find them that impressive when I sat in them and would prefer something a bit softer in the lumbar area as well as a bit tighter around the shoulders. Also something a lot lighter haha. I'm looking at maybe a pair of Sparco's, Evo or Pro2000.
