Are you sure? That seems unnecessarily complicated. If you're going to have an electric pump just to do this then why not simply have an electrical flap on the exhaust?

The whole point of the flap is that it depends on engine load which is inversely proportional to the inlet manifold vacuum. And turbo petrol cars have an inlet manifold.
