Second time that the thread has been deleted. Big Motoring World are obviously 'handy with their lawyers'.
Essentially, the OP had booked their car in for an MOT and failed on a number of points, totalling around £500 (rear springs and brakes)
They checked the car with a mechanic friend and found that the back wheels were pretty much seized on, so not removed for brake check. Springs showed no signs of having been inspected (covered in road grime) and no signs of defects when cleaned up.
Alternative garage MOT'd it with no defects.
VOSA wanted £50 payment to investigate an allegation against Big Motoring World and OP wanted guidance as to how to proceed.
All anecdotal and alledged obvously
