Just came accross the thread. Its quite boring in reality actually, When I did this. I had the better start with the better traction so I was around 1 car length ahead, then were both locked in place 50mph onwards. Stayed that way.
Had the 330d have been a mapped car, im sure he would have smoked me. End of.
330i revs to around 7k. Yes the delivery is designed to provide more torque higher up the rev range, and it is very civil unless you do thrash it.
