I actually bought a 360 last year just to play forza3 until GT5 comes out. I'm still deciding if I should sell 360, since I bought PS3 about 3 years back when I thought GT5 was coming out that year or hopefully sooner. It'll be worth for long waiting.
Sounds like you have 20 games for 360, just keep 360 and buy a PS3 w/ GT5. Also, definitely get a Logitec GT25/28 Wheel because its amazing w/ a clutch. I've been playing on GT5 demos and prologue the last couple years.
