Definitely will look better in 19" and I've read the quality is pretty damn good. I've hit carved out sections of road with an inch or more of lip to it and some potholes and they're fine. I also have the conti extreme tires.
Just do your best to avoid the potholes. And in the winter you could put your stock wheels back on.
