Thanks much; the dealer confirmed that I have a GM GA6L-45R transmission. Also confirmed by this VIN decoder:

And I jacked up my car and confirmed by the plate on the transmission that it's a GM transmission.
That changes things quite a bit. I'll use the Red Line D4 in my wife's Acura, as that can be substituted for the crappy Honda Z-1 fluid.
I'll need to get Dexron VI fluid and I'll buy a transmission filter. I priced out a filter and gasket for a bit over $110. I plan on using off the shelf Dexron VI, as all Dexron VI is manufactured to some pretty high specs.
I'll try to put together a DIY half as good as this one.
