Well the dealer confirmed that it's the fuel pump and surprise, surprise they can't tell me when they will get the part in as they are on back order from Germany.
I've had a vent at the dealer and BMW GB and they are going to get together tomorrow morning to see what car etc. they are going to give me while I'm waiting for mine to be fixed.
As you can probably guess I am not happy.
