There are skilled watch technicians out there. You just have to find them. And the shop I posted above has skilled watch mechanics.

Thanks for the heads up guys. This is all great advice. As for sending it back, I'd rather be sure about where I drop it off and pick it up. I just don't trust (insured or not) mailing these sorts of things. I'll check out these retailers and see what comes of it.
