[KASPA]

Looking for some advice from anyone who may know more about this then me.

My sister went out a month ago and bought herself a 2006 Mercedes slk for 8.5k. She was stupid enough not to hpi it. I find out today that it has 9k finance owing on it. The finance company say it is only owing the final balloon payment. After getting through to the previous owner she tells me that she has declared bankruptcy. The twist in the story is that her now ex boyfriend sold the car and has taken off with the money!!

She is now bankrupt so what happens now. I've been looking into consumer rights acts which may help as she's 'the first innocent purchaser' etc.

Any help will be appreciated.
