FWIW, I just got my perches at the beginning of the month directly from Supreme Power and they are black, not silver.

No his perches are NOT counterfeit. Those look exactly like mine that I got directly from Supreme awhile back. I had similiar noise issues after installing my perches and it was fixed by hammering the " arch " down so they wouldn't rub against the springs.
