So after 20 minutes of trying different searches with no success, I'm giving up and posting my issue to ask for help.
ISSUE:
When I get in the car, my BlackBerry Bold connects via Bluetooth (like it always has) except now it stays stuck on the "CONNECTED..." screen and I can't navigate away from this menu.
- can't change the radio station
- can't switch to CD
- can't dial through the car or navigate to my contacts
- basically, the only things that work are the volume and on/off
CONFIGURATION:
- Car is a 2007 E90, with no iDrive
- Just performed an engine swap with a 2010 N54 since I blew mine at the track (

- Using the car's original ECU
The only work-around I've found so far is to disable bluetooth from my phone. When I do this, everything else works perfect.
