I know your not to blame at all and it was a total scammer but what made you think they were good quality used lci lights in the first place when in the for sale thread the guy said it has wiring issues and burnt leds?
I know the feeling though. Got jacked by a known scammer a couple years ago buying used parts for my Yamaha r6. Everything was either scuffed or cracked. Good thing I didn't pay as a "gift" like he requested. I paid regularly and covered the fees and it was the best decision I could have made. PayPal reimbursed me everything and I got to keep the parts and ended up selling a few. Not for much but whatever.
