I hate the Goodyear F1 all-seasons! I have ~10,000 miles on them and at 15-30mph, the noise is embarrassing. At high speeds, the wah wah wah is just faster and higher pitched - also embarrassing.

I just finished the transaction with Chad@Tirerack and he was quite helpful. He confirmed with Goodyear that the replacement for the F1 All-Seasons is still unavailable. Since Goodyear doesn't make an all-season tire that would fit my car, I went with the Continential ExtremeContact DWS and I hope its better.

The process is:
1. Call TireRack about the faulty Goodyear F1
2. Get confirmation that you can order a different brand/model
3. Place order.
4. Get return authorization number
5. After you get the new ones installed, ship the old ones back to the place TireRack says
6. get your money back for the tires and an additional $100 to cover installation/shipping of the faulty ones.

note: they only reimburse the cost of the new tires, shipping not included.
note2: Its cheapest to combine 2 tires in a contractor trash bag and ship only 2 packages instead of 4... saved me about $20.

In the end, I think TireRack gave exceptional service and was very helpful throughout.
